Alliance Automotive Group Europe, which in addition to Benelux also operates in countries including the UK, France and Spain, aims to achieve a CO2 reduction target of more than 38% by 2030.
This mission will be achieved by, for example, replacing 50% of diesel delivery vehicles with Electric vehicles. At the Benelux distribution centre in Ede in 2022 and 2023, investments will be made in more efficient logistics processes such as bin lanes, improving the quality of deliveries and the working environment.
At Winparts, investments were made in an ultramodern packaging machine, resulting in substantial savings on cardboard and volume; the cardboard is folded directly around the products. At the PartsPoint branches and distribution centres, 85,000m2 of floor space will be fitted with LED lighting, 1,500 solar panels installed and 10% of energy saved thanks to increased awareness of consumption through, for example, a smart meter.
Next level: NexDrive
The electrification of the vehicle fleet continued at a fast pace in recent years. Customers of Alliance Automotive Group Benelux are increasingly confronted with EVs or hybrid vehicles in their workshops.
To keep universal car dealerships technically up-to-date and to educate and train their staff, NexDrive was introduced: a concept that ensures the future-proofing of the garage business.
