Alliance Automotive Group Benelux acquires ASN Autoschade

News

Effective 11 March, Alliance Automotive Group Benelux (AAGB) is expanding its damage repair division through the acquisition of ASN Autoschade including PortoMotive and A.Glas. With the acquisition of this leading and nationwide franchise organisation, with more than 100 branches, AAGB strengthens its position in the car body repair industry.

AAGB took serious steps in 2023 to expand its activities in the car body repair industry and realise the associated ambitions. With the takeover of MSH Equipment, the expansion of the Paint and Non-Paint division and the establishment of recognised damage repair courses in cooperation with Summa College and TECH360, a solid foundation has been laid in a short period of time. With the addition of the nationwide network of ASN bodyshops, partner for insurance companies, lease companies, fleet owners and dealer organisations, AAGB now has a fully-fledged damage division.

ASN Autoschade has been a household name in the car damage repair industry for more than 25 years. The franchise organisation has more than 100 outlets throughout the Netherlands, more than 75 of which operate under the ASN label. ASN Autoschade includes independent car body repair companies: mostly professional family businesses with a long tradition and a leading position in their region. Besides ASN Autoschade, the takeover also included A-Glas (car glass repair) and PortoMotive, with its in-house developed damage management system PortoView.

Rob Visser (Director Network at AAGB) is enthusiastic about the takeover: "ASN Autoschade is a wonderful organisation that suits us very well. With this takeover we are taking a big step forward in the damage repair world. As we are already building our proposition for the car body repair sector, the timing couldn't be better. In addition, we are enormously pleased that the ASN management will stay with us for the long term and that the great team at ASN headquarters is coming along and believes in our strength and vision."

ASN Autoschade is also happy with acquisition. Peter Hubregtse (Director ASN Autoschade) explains: "ASN's growth strategy and no-nonsense mentality fit very well with Alliance Automotive Group Benelux. Future market developments require a broader scope and this is guaranteed through the acquisition by AAGB. We are convinced that the responsibilities we have towards our members as a franchise organisation are in good hands with AAGB.
